WAYPOINT Information Technology announces the release of an updated and improved version of WAYPOINT Tracker, Waypoint’s hosted asset tracking solution.
New in this release:
Geofences:
Using a graphical interface, define geographic regions that are important
to the location and movement of your tracked assets.
Geofence Events and Alarms:
Send email notifications when your assets enter or leave geofenced regions.
Secure Geofence Access:
Delegate control and Geofence assignment to users through WAYPOINT Tracker’s comprehensive access control interface.
Notification Lists:
Generate notification lists that include existing users or external email addresses.
Enhanced in this release:
Upgraded Trip Processor:
Improved trip logic and symbols, clearly show trip beginnings, stops (pauses) and ends.
Points recorded while an asset is temporarily stationary, such as a pause in a trip, are shown as stationary nodes at lower zoom levels.
